The trend of retirement in cricket continues. Recently, Shikhar Dhawan surprised everyone by announcing his retirement from international cricket and then a day before, on 28 August, West Indies bowler Shannon Gabriel said goodbye to cricket. Now big news of retirement of another cricketer is coming. This player belongs to India. Actually, India’s left-arm fast bowler Barinder Sran has announced his retirement from cricket. 31-year-old Sran informed about his decision on social media and said that this is the right time for him to retire.

Barinder Sran said that he has officially decided to retire from cricket, he thanked everyone wholeheartedly for this journey. He said that after coming from boxing to cricket in the year 2009, he got countless and incredible experiences. He told that fast bowling soon became lucky for him and the doors of playing in IPL opened for him. Then in 2016, he got the privilege of playing for Team India.

He further said that even though his international career was short, the memories related to cricket will always remain in his heart. He also thanked God for the right coach and management. He finally said that like the sky, dreams also have no limits, so keep dreaming.

Barinder made his debut against Australia in Perth in 2015-16 and then played two T20Is for India on their Zimbabwe tour in 2016. He took seven wickets in six ODIs and six wickets in two T20Is. Talking about Barinder’s IPL career, he represented Mumbai Indians, Kings XI Punjab, Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad. He took 18 wickets in 24 matches between 2015 and 2019. He took 47 wickets in 18 first class matches while taking 45 wickets in 31 List A matches. At the same time, he took 45 wickets in 48 T20 matches.
