Admission to UG, PG and PhD Programs at National Law University Delhi for 2025

National Law University Delhi; Sector 14, Dwarka, New Delhi-110078, has invited applications for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2025 for admission to Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Ph.D programmes for the Academic Year 2025-26.

The Programs and eligibility for admission are as follows:

B.A.LL.B.(Hons.)/ B.Com.LL.B.(Hons.): Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 system) or an equivalent examination with 45% marks (42% in case of OBC’s and 40% for SC/ST). Those appearing for the 12th standard annual examination in 2025 are eligible to apply.

LL.M. (One Year) Non-Residential Programme: LL.B. or an equivalent law degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities). Those appearing for the final year LL.B. annual examination in 2025 are eligible to apply.

Joint Masters/ LL.M. in Intellectual Property (IP) Law and Management (Non-Residential):

Master of Law (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property Law and Management: LL.B. or an equivalent degree from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate (50% for reserved categories such as SC/ST/Persons with Disability).

Master of Arts (M.A.) in Intellectual Property Law and Management: (i) Applicants must have completed two bachelor’s degrees in succession, including one in the relevant discipline or (ii) An integrated degree programme of five years in the relevant discipline after completing plus two or (iii) An equivalent post-graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or (iv) Completing a four-year bachelor’s programme with Honours/Research, from a recognized university. In all the above-mentioned cases, applicant must have secured minimum of 55% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST/Persons with Disability)

Ph.D. in Law: LL.M. or an equivalent law degree with 55% marks (50% SC/ST/OBCs non-creamy layer/ Differently Abled/Economically Weaker Section)

Ph.D. in Social Sciences- Political Science, Sociology, Criminology, Economics and English: Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in relevant Social Sciences or Humanities with 55% marks (50% SC/ST/OBCs non-creamy layer/ Differently Abled/EWS). UGC-JRF candidates are exempted from AILET for Ph.D.

AILET will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm on 8th December 2024 (Sunday).

Test Cities: AILET-2025 will be conducted at Bengaluru, Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Kota, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Shimla, Siliguri, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam.

Application: Online Application can be submitted at latest by November 18, 2024 (Monday).

Fee: Application fee is Rs.3500/-( Rs.1500/- for SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities (PwD)). Below Poverty Line (BPL) applicants of SC/ST category are exempted from application fee.

Admit Card (Online) will be available from Thursday, November 28, 2024.
