It seems that there is a race among e-commerce platforms to deliver goods at the fastest rate. On one hand, Blinkit is claiming to deliver goods in 10 minutes, on the other hand, Flipkart is also not far behind in this matter. Recently, e-commerce platform Flipkart has started its Flipkart Minutes service in Bangalore, which delivers smartphones, electronics and other products within just 10-15 minutes. Recently, a person ordered a laptop from Flipkart Minutes while sitting in a coffee shop and posted his experience on X.

I ordered a laptop while drinking coffee

A person named Sunny Gupta told on Instagram that he has just ordered a laptop from Flipkart Minutes, it is showing delivery in 7 minutes, I will keep telling everything in the thread. However, shortly after ordering, the tracking page started showing slightly delayed and the time updated from 7 minutes to 12 minutes.

Gupta also posted a video of the delivery boy bringing the laptop, in which he said, ‘I am unboxing it now, before giving the OTP.’

Ultimately, Gupta said that it took exactly 13 minutes from the payment being successful to it being delivered.

One user took a dig at Gupta’s post and wrote, “Quick-commerce needs to relax a bit. Who would be in a hurry to get a new laptop delivered to their home in less than 10 minutes!?”

What is Flipkart Minutes Service?

Flipkart has entered the race of quick delivery with a service called Minutes. This service has gone live in some parts of Bangalore. It competes directly with Zepto, Swiggy’s Instamart and Zomato’s Blinkit. Flipkart was preparing to enter the field of 10 minute delivery service for the last few months.

The service has been launched in areas like HSR Layout, Gunjur, Bellandur and Kadubeesanahalli. These are popular residential and IT hubs, where there is a huge demand for quick commerce services. Under this, Flipkart is delivering electronics, smartphones and other items within 10-15 minutes. “The service has been started in select areas of Bengaluru,” said a person familiar with the matter. “The aim is to first improve it and then expand it.”
