Water ATMs are also another important project in which water vending machines can be installed at multiple locations in Sikkim to tender purified water to the local public and tourists at a minimal price. This project will enable the public access to mineral water at the lowest price and also avoid the use of plastics to contribute to maintaining a clean environment. Local entrepreneurs can manage these water ATMs.

Sources said the Minister is looking for other potential projects for boosting investment in Sikkim by local investors as well as investors from outside to strengthen the industrial sector and augment employment opportunities for the aspiring local youths of Sikkim.
