The India Meteorological Department in its latest weather bulletin has alerted about active monsoon conditions that are likely to spread across northwest India in the upcoming 4 days. A widespread downpour along with isolated rainfall is expected to occur in East and Central India.

IMD Warning for Heavy Rainfall for these regions:

The IMD has also warned about very heavy showers in isolated areas of Gujarat, Kutch, and Saurashtra on July 30. East Madhya Pradesh will get it from July 31 to August 2, Madhya Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh will receive it from August 1-2. Konkan and Goa and August 1 and West Madhya Pradesh on August 2.  Similar weather conditions are likely to persist in Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, Goa, and Konkan from July 29 to August 2. Vidarbha will receive heavy rainfall on July 29, August 1, and August 2 whereas Chhattisgarh and East Madhya Pradesh will get it on August 1 and August 2.

Isolated heavy rainfall prediction for Northwest India

Isolated heavy precipitation is likely to occur in Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh, and West Rajasthan on July 31. Likewise, Ladakh, Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit, Baltistan might get it on July 31 and August 1. Uttarakhand is expected to receive it on July 29 to August 2, West Rajasthan on July 31, and East Rajasthan on July 29.

Southern, Eastern & Northeast regions to get heavy rainfall

The Met Department has forecast very heavy rainfall for Southern regions of India. Mahe, Kerala, and South Interior Karnataka are expected to get it from July 29 to July 30. North Interior Karnataka is likely to get it from July 29 to July 30. Moreover, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal will receive it on July 29.

Northeast India is anticipated to have very heavy rainfall at isolated places in Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh from August 1 to August 2, and Manipur from July 29 to August 1. Eastern regions of India are projected to experience the same weather patterns. Sikkim and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal will receive it from July 29 to July 30, August 1-August 2. Odisha is likely to get it from July 29 to August 2.
