Adulterated Sauce Manufacturing Unit Seized in Bhubaneswar | Pragativadi | Odisha News, Breaking News Odisha, Latest Odisha News

Bhubaneswar: A Special Squad of Commissionerate Police and the Food Safety Department official today jointly conducted a raid and seized an adulterated sauce manufacturing unit at Bhimtangi in Bhubaneswar’s Old Town area.

During the joint operation, the cops and the food safety officials seized fake sauce, colouring agents, and other raw materials in large quantities. Additionally, equipment utilised in the sauce production process was also seized.

It is alleged that the sauce manufacturing unit was using water from a drainage canal in the production.

Bhubaneswar Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Prateek Singh who supervised the raid informed that the owner of the unit has been taken into custody for further questioning.
