Naga Darters excel at National Darts event in Varanasi

Limatoshi and Burakum Ao with others.

Kohima, July 27 (MExN): The All India Darts Association (AIDA) organized the 22nd National tournament at Varanasi from July 19 to 21 wherein around 150 darters from all over the country participated.

The two participants from Nagaland joined the meet included Limatoshi and Burakum Ao.

Limatoshi won the Police cup and selected to represent India at The Game of Heroes- World Police & Fire Game at Birmingham Alabama USA 2025. Lima also stood 3rd Position at the Men’s Single & all India ranking and selected to the probable India team to participate at Asia-Pacific Cup, Chinese Taipei from November 2 to 7, 2024. Lima also scored the most number of 180 on the tournament.

Meanwhile, Burakum Ao stood 2nd in the Masters category and also listed in the waiting list for the Asia Pacific Cup 2024. Burakum Ao has already selected for the World Masters Games at Taipei Taiwan to be held from May 17 to 30, 2025 to represent India.
