Exhibiting the soft power of India with Prateek Hira !

India is amongst the favourite destinations for travellers when it comes to colour, diversity and spunk of life. Travellers are bound to explore the lanes and mohallas of indigenous India which gives them insight about  a variety of things . With passage of time, the soft power of India was getting limited to built heritage and ancient monuments. A streak of this trend caused a sharp decline of tourists coming to explore many more things. The decline in tourism business and its allied activities which was the bread and butter of many people was getting adversely affected . This became even more intense after COVID 19 pandemic .

The solution to this was re-energised by tourism expert Prateek Hira who advertised new methods and ways to pull international foot-fall in Uttar Pradesh rather than push traditional marketing to overseas clients. Prateek Hira runs different tour companies like Tornos India from 1994, River Rhapsody, Indian Frontiers each with all different genres of travel and associated with United Kingdom based Wales Beckons and Vanvasi Project India’s women centric craft revival work .

The result of all these collective efforts was seen in Ayodhya, Benaras, Lucknow and Agra with overwhelming crowds . The idea to promote India adopted by Prateek Hira was rooted in projecting authenticity of local culture and flavour through the in-depth layers of gastronomy . Traditional cuisines and the process of bringing exceptional menus to lunches and dinners brought attention to traveller groups as it enhanced their day to day experiences. With their future announcements of starting craft tours and rural tourism circuit will act as a catalyst for the government’s aims and charters to bring India on the front-lines.

The culture and tourism projects mentored by Prateek Hira and his partners are a treasure for tour guides, travel agents, students, and travellers, providing a fresh perspective on India. Their work is in buzz with their upcoming launches on rural tourism circuits in Uttar Pradesh. The craft tours are taking shape with women artisans ready to showcase their artisanal skills to the world .

It also aligns with the Indian government’s ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ program and emphasises sustainable heritage landscapes, including monumental history and cultural traditions.

The idea to promote Uttar Pradesh and India as a whole has immense scope with connoisseurs like Prateek Hira who have chartered the right process to build markets with sustainable ways.
