Lucknow: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the revised result for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG result 2024 on July 27, 2024. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can visit the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/ to check their results. Candidates need to use their login details such as registration number and date of birth to download the NEET UG result 2024.
As the results are out, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will begin the NEET UG Counselling 2024 soon. The dates for NEET UG Counselling 2024 for admission to 15 per cent of All India Quota (AIQ) will be announced by the MCC shortly. The remaining 85 per cent of seats will be conducted by the respective state department.
Who conducts UP NEET Counseling 2024?
The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Lucknow conducts the UP NEET 2024 counselling for 85 per cent of the state quota. The round-wise UP NEET counselling 2024 schedule for admission to MBBS and BDS courses will be available soon on the official website at upneet.gov.in. Candidates who qualify in the NEET UG 2024 will be eligible to participate in the Uttar Pradesh NEET counselling.

The UP NEET 2024 admission for MBBS/BDS will be conducted in three rounds, including a mop-up round. During the UP NEET 2024 counselling and seat allotment process, candidates must fill in their college preferences for admission. During the choice-filling process, candidates can select as many colleges as they wish for the UP MBBS/BDS allotment process.
Based on the choices filled by the candidates, availability of seats, All India Rank in NEET UG 2024, reservation criteria, and various other factors, the seats in medical colleges will be granted.

Candidates need to carry the below-mentioned documents with them to the respective nodal centres for verification purposes. If any candidate fails to take the documents it will result in the forfeiture of the seat allotted to them.

- Class 10 mark sheet
- Class 12 mark sheet
- A valid photo ID proof such as Aadhaar card/ Passport/ Driving License/PAN card
- Domicile Certificate of Uttar Pradesh
- Caste Certificate (if required)
- Online registration slip
- Receipt showing the successful deposition of security money
