Angry over a minor altercation, the passenger assaulted an Indigo airline employee. A passenger of another flight present at the spot said that the accused had reached the counter for late boarding. The passenger got agitated when the Indigo airline employee asked him questions. First he had an altercation with the Indigo employee. Then he slapped him. The dispute escalated. Seeing the commotion, a crowd gathered at the spot.

After this, the security personnel handed over the accused passenger to the airport post. There was a heated debate between the two sides for four to five hours. Employees of other airlines also reached on behalf of the employee. Later, the police gave a strict warning to the passenger. A written apology was taken after which he was let go.
