After getting the gift of three new Vande Bharat Express trains, another good news will be received from Indian Railways soon. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav visited the BEML factory in Bengaluru on Sunday. Here he unveiled the copy version of the sleeper coach of Vande Bharat Express. Vaishnav said that the coach will be tested for 10 days before operating it. He said that the train is likely to start operating in the next three months. The minister also laid the foundation stone of Vande Bharat Manufacturing Establishment at Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) campus.

The Union Minister said that the manufacturing of Vande Sleeper coach has been completed. It will be rolled out from the BEML factory in the coming days. This is a completely sleeper version. Ashwini Vaishnav told reporters after the inspection, ‘Today we are starting a very important journey. You know that the Vande Bharat chair-car version was successful. Our eyes were set on the manufacturing and designing of the Vande Bharat Sleeper train. We were all working on this manufacturing and its manufacturing has been completed. Vande Sleeper will be rolled out from the BEML factory in the coming days.’

Designing a new train is a complex task: Railway Minister

Ashwini Vaishnav said, ‘It has been a long journey. Designing the new train was a complex task. Many new facilities have been provided in Vande Sleeper.’ He said that Vande Bharat Chair-Car, Vande Sleeper, Vande Metro and Amrit Bharat trains will change the travel experience of people in the country. The Railway Minister said, ‘These projects reflect the ambitious India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.’ Let us tell you that PM Modi flagged off 3 new Vande Bharat trains connecting Meerut to Lucknow, Madurai to Bengaluru and Chennai to Nagarcoil on Saturday. He said that rapid development of the southern states is important to achieve the goal of making India developed by 2047.
