The Mahindra Group unveils its Cultural Events Calendar for 2024-2025. From rock music to poetry,  performing and visual arts, to crafts, this year’s calendar provides something for everyone. 

Mahindra Group’s series of live events for this year, part of its Cultural Outreach initiative, will once again act as a driving force in preserving India’s rich traditions while ensuring these cultural  practices thrive in the modern world. 

Here are the upcoming programmes that will take fans on an artistic journey full of discovery, making these festivals the vibrant core of Indian arts and  culture. 

1. Mahindra Independence Rock Festival (16- 17 November 2024): Building on its success last year, the 30th edition of the festival this year aims to continue reviving the rock  music scene in India. By encouraging young independent rock musicians through their platform, the festival offers them the creative freedom to express non-conformist ideas while championing freedom of speech, inclusivity, and equality. 

2. Mahindra Kabira Festival (13 – 15 December 2024): The Mahindra Kabira  Festival is an annual event held on the historic ghats of Varanasi, celebrating the mystic melodies and artistic spirit of the Poet-Saint Kabir. This edition seeks to bring Kabir’s timeless philosophy to life, connecting his profound teachings with modern audiences in a vibrant and captivating Way.

3. Mahindra Sanatkada Lucknow Festival (31 January – 4 February 2025): The  Mahindra Sanatkada Lucknow Festival  is a five-day annual celebration that showcases the rich and harmonious culture of Awadh. 

4. Mahindra Blues Festival (8 – 9 February 2025): As Asia’s largest Blues  festival, the cultural festival has become a  landmark Western music event in Mumbai, firmly woven into the city’s cultural fabric. Hosted at Mehboob Studios, this year’s edition aims to feature the world’s leading blues artists,establishing itself as a premier destination for blues enthusiasts. 

5. Mahindra Percussion Festival (8 – 9 March 2025): The Mahindra Percussion  Festival is a groundbreaking platform  that explores a range of music genres, all anchored by powerful percussion rhythms that capture the essence of music. Aiming to democratise the arts and push creative limits, the 3rd edition offers a celebration of rhythm that profoundly resonates with human emotions, delivering a truly world-class cultural experience.

6. Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards Festival (13 – 20 March 2025): Through its editions, the META Awards has become a significant platform that brings together both emerging and established theatre companies on a unified stage. To date, it has showcased over 100 theatrical masterpieces from  across India, earning a reputation as a prestigious institution dedicated to recognising, nurturing, and promoting exceptional theatre.
