Bhubaneswar: A migrant labourer from Marchagoda village died under mysterious circumstances in Bengaluru in Karnataka.

The deceased has been identified as Rameswar Patra aka Bagha (32), son of Sanatan Patra.

As per reports, Patra had gone to Bengaluru to work as a labourer due to financial difficulties in his family. He was admitted to a local hospital there after suffering from diarrhoea, but his condition worsened, and he died during treatment.

He returned to his room following his recovery. But three days ago, he suddenly fell ill again and was admitted to the hospital. As his condition worsened, his father Sanatan was informed, and he rushed to Bengaluru. However, Rameshwar while undergoing treatment.

After the post-mortem, his body was brought back to Marchagoda village in an ambulance and his last rites were performed in his village.

Patra’s family, including his three children, wife, and elderly parents, are now struggling to come to terms with his sudden death. The family is seeking financial assistance from the company where Patra worked, as they are from a very poor background.
