Kolkata Doctor Rape-Murder Case LIVE Updates: The ‘Paschimbanga Chhatro Samaj’ has called for a major protest march on Tuesday – ‘Nabanno Abhiyaan’ (march to Secretariat)’, against the rape and murder of a woman trainee doctor at the RG Kar College and Hospital in Kolkata. The protest is expected to see thousands of students and activists marching from College Square to the state secretariat.

Meanwhile, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday concluded a second round of polygraph tests on former RG Kar Medical College and Hospital (RGKMCH) principal Sandip Ghosh as part of their investigation into the rape-murder of a woman doctor at the institution.

Earlier, CBI officials conducted a polygraph test on the arrested accused, Sanjay Roy, in connection with the incident. The anti-corruption branch of the Central Bureau of Investigation also conducted searches on August 25 at multiple locations in connection with the financial irregularities at the RG Kar Hospital.
