Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad with support from the National Commission for Women (NCW), on Thursday concluded the ‘Mega Culmination of 100 Entrepreneurship Awareness Programmes (EAPs)’.

Aimed at encouraging women to adopt entrepreneurship as a career, the EAPs sensitized as many as 5796 potential women entrepreneurs.

Harsh Sanghavi, Hon’ble Minister of State, Home, Industries, Cultural Activities (State Minister), Sports, Youth Service was the chief guest, while NCW chairperson Rekha Sharma was the guest of honour at the event.

“The government has been promoting women leadership and empowerment in an effort to bolster India’s women-led development agenda,” Sanghavi said. “The response has been encouraging, with women acknowledging their capabilities and showing the confidence to step ahead,” Sharma said.
