On Friday when Manu was questioned by the journalists on Vinesh Phogat’s case of disqualification, another reporter asked the Indian Olympian’s mother about her conversation with Neeraj at the Paris Olympics. However, furious with the question, Manu’s mother avoided it and headed for an exit. The reaction was considering she did not want to react to the questions ever since meeting Neeraj in Paris.
Earlier in the month Neeraj and Manu’s mother met at the Paris Olympics when the former had won a silver medal in javelin throw. Manu was felicitated at the India House in Paris along with Neeraj with both holding a unique distinction of winning multiple medals at the Paris Olympics.
