Multi-brand premium Indian fashion retailer Amethyst will host womenswear designer Payal Pratap in Chennai for the first time. On 22nd August, the designer will kick off a sale event at the boutique in Royapettah.

Amethyst has announced a select sale and showcase running until 24th August, as detailed in their press release. Meanwhile, Payal Pratap recently hosted an online exclusive sale on their e-commerce site from 8th-15th August, according to a Facebook update from the brand.

Amethyst’s event offers signature styles that blend handcrafted quality with comfort, including a variety of tops, dresses, tunics, kurta sets, stoles, and sarees, all available at attractive discounts. Prices start from Rs. 3,500, providing an opportunity for city shoppers to acquire premium pieces at more affordable rates.

In spring, Payal Pratap presented their latest collection, ‘The Soft Parade,’ at Lakmé Fashion Week x Fashion Design Council of India. This collection honoured traditional Kutch craft practices while modernising them for the contemporary Indian woman. It showcases bandhani prints on silk and incorporates ancient kedia stitches, merging relaxed silhouettes with subtle, feminine details.
