Continuing its series of updates on the ongoing, transformational Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project, the National High-Speed Rail Corporation gave an update on the progress being made at the Anand Bullet Train Station.

Sharing a before and after image of the station, the NHSRCL said rapid progress is being made at the station. It added that the concourse and platform levels are ready there, adding that the roofing work is nearing completion. Besides this, the internal finishing work is in progress.

The Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project aims to transform the region’s  transportation landscape.

Highlights of Anand Bullet Train Station:

  • The platform will be 415 meters long, specifically designed to efficiently accommodate high-speed rail traffic.
  • The station will stand tall at 25.6 meters, highlighting its impressive and modern stature.
  • The total built-up area will span 44,073 square meters, offering ample space for functionality and traveler comfort.

The station will feature three levels: Ground, Concourse, and Platform, with two side platforms flanking four tracks. It will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and amenities.

It will also some outstanding amenities like skylights integrated into the roof and exterior for natural illumination, ticketing and waiting zones, premium business-class lounge, nursery for families, restrooms, information kiosks and retail outlets.
