Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2024: Registration window to close tomorrow for medical courses

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2024 through the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is all set to close the registration portal for medical, dental, and AYUSH courses tomorrow, August 19. This is the last chance for candidates to begin the new registration and to link their NEET UG 2024 roll number for KCET counselling 2024. All qualified candidates aiming for Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2024 can apply and pay the required fee through the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Earlier, the KEA extended the last date to register for KCET counselling 2024 for MBBS and BDS admissions after considering multiple requests from candidates and parents. This extension will enable candidates to begin the fresh registrations and/or link their NEET UG roll numbers. The KEA has also asked OCI (Overseas Citizens of India), PIO (Persons of Indian Origin), NRI (Non-Resident Indian) candidates, foreign nationals, and NRI wards, as well as those in category-2 to category-8, who applied to St John Medical College, Bangalore to complete the document verification by visiting the KEA office in person on August 19 between 11 am and 2 pm.

How to register for Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2024?

Step 1: Open the official website of KEA at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in

Step 2: Find the KCET counselling for MBBS and BDS admission section

Step 3: Select the registration link

Step 4: Clicking on the link will open the application form

Step 5: Fill in the registration form with all details including NEET UG roll number

Step 6: Pay the application fee, if any

Step 7: Upload the required documents

Step 8: Submit the application form

Step 9: Download and take a printout of application form for future need.

The KEA has also announced that candidates who missed the document verifications on August 7, 9, 12 or 15 are also allowed to complete the same on August 19. All counselling rounds including stray vacancy rounds will be conducted only by the KEA.
