NavSahyog Foundation celebrates I-Day
Dimapur, August 17 (MExN): NavSahyog Foundation, a Bangalore-based non- profit organization dedicated to nurturing life skills and creativity among rural children aged 5-14, celebrated Independence Day with events across its operational regions.
A press release from the foundation said that the celebration was supported by headmasters, community leaders, and local sponsors. In Seluophe, the festivities took place at the Government School and were attended by Headmaster Vikato Tena.
Children participated in dance, quiz and drawing competitions.
The NavSahyog Foundation team, including Field Coordinator LozuaKape, Area Facilitator Roshan, and Village Coordinator coordinated the event. Independence Day at Amaluma was held in the community hall.
Village Chairman John Jidung, Village GB Rubinon Naben, and School Headmaster Ditush Naben was present. The children showcased their talents through solo and group dances and delivered patriotic speeches. The NavSahyog team, represented by LozuaKape, Area Facilitator Dilon, and Village Coordinators Rabina and Reshmodi, played a key role in the event’s success.
In Hasadisa, the community hall hosted the Independence Day and was graced by Village Chairman Ranesh Langthasa.
The children performed group dances and delivered patriotic speeches, with the event supported by NavSahyog team member, Area Facilitator Diloni, and Village Coordinator Kobita. Similar celebrations were conducted in various other villages, including Urra, Singrijan, Disagaphu, Doyapur, Ganeshnagar, and Lokheto, each showcasing talents and patriotism of local children.
