Routes of many trains changed

A train accident took place in Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. 20 coaches of Sabarmati Express (train number 19168) going from Varanasi to Ahmedabad derailed. No one was seriously injured in this train accident. Due to the train accident, many trains have been cancelled. Also, the route of some trains has been diverted.

These trains were canceled

Railways has cancelled 6 trains. These include 01823/01824 Jhansi-Lucknow, 11109 V Jhansi-Lucknow Junction, 01802/01801 Kanpur-Manikpur, 01814/01813 Kanpur-V Jhansi, 01887/01888 Gwalior-Etawah, 01889/01890 Gwalior-Bhind trains. All these trains have been cancelled for one day i.e. only till Saturday.

These trains were diverted

Along with this, the railway has diverted the route of 3 trains due to the accident. The railway said that the route of 11110 Lucknow Junction-V Jhansi, 225337 Gorakhpur-Lokmanya Tilak Terminal, 20104 Gorakhpur-Lokmanya Tilak Terminal has been diverted.
