Bambolim
The Goa Police Athletic team received accolades from DGP Goa for their impressive showing at the recent Goa Athletic Association Championships held in Bambolim. The felicitation ceremony was attended by IGP Goa Shri Omvir Singh, SP Sports Sunita Sawant, DYSP Sports Shivram Vaigankar, and PI Sports Raia Naik.
The team’s outstanding performance resulted in a total of four medals: one silver and three bronze. PC 9569 Alister D’Souza led the medal tally, securing a silver in the 100 meters run and a bronze in the 200 meters event. PC 9631 Divesh Gaude claimed bronze in the 400 meters run, while LPC 9265 Priyaksha Gawde earned bronze in the 200 meters run for women.
