KATHMANDU, Aug 12: The Nepal Men’s National Cricket Team departed for India this morning to prepare for League-2 under the 2027 World Cup qualification.

Nepal is scheduled for a two-week training camp at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore, ahead of the upcoming triangular series with home team Canada and Oman in September.

In the first round, Nepal played against Namibia and the Netherlands on home ground. This is the second series of Nepal in League-2.

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) expects this training to help the players focus on technical aspects.

It is reported that Captain Rohit Kumar Paudel, all-rounder Dipendra Singh Airee and leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane, who are currently in Canada, will not participate in the training in India. All the three players are in Canada for the Global T20 League.
