Print Business Outlook Conference heads to Chennai | PrintWeekIndia
The Print Business Outlook Conference 2024 will be organised on 21 August at the Delta Auditorium, Anna University, Chennai. The event is being organised by the Association for PRINT Technologies, Anna University, The Printing Technologists Forum and WhatTheyThink.
The agenda highlights for this year’s conference include smart food packaging, the importance of print and packaging in the digital age, balancing creativity and technical skills for a well-rounded career, and the integration of digital and offset printing and artificial intelligence.
There will also be an interactive panel discussion regarding The Voice of the Customer. The speakers will be S Srikanth of Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran (BRBNMPL) which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reserve Bank of India, Sunder Balakrishnan of Natur Tec India and Mohan Kumar of Vijayneha Polymers, Manoj Paul of RRD, GO Creative and Chef Koushik Shankar.
This year’s theme is to focus on pivotal areas: Skill Up — to stay ahead with cutting-edge technologies and techniques which will address the topic of smart food packaging by Prof Rajeshwar Matche of CFTRI.
Three must-attend presentations are the successful integration of digital and offset printing by Rajesh Khanna of JB Khanna Pictures; type design process and technology by Sarang Kulkarni of WhiteCrow Designs/Ek Type; and sustainability and opportunities in moulded fiber by Mohit Kumar of Ecosure Pulpmolding.
