Tamil Nadu registered a 3-1 victory over Kerala to advance to the semi-finals of the Junior Girls’ National Football Championship Tier 1, at the RDT Stadium in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, on Thursday.
Tamil Nadu K Asika scored a brace while Kaviya tapped one in their triumph. Kerala managed to pull one back through Aysha Mirhana IP.
With this win, Tamil Nadu finished on top of Group C with seven points from three matches. Kerala, who won their first two group league matches against Arunachal Pradesh and Gujarat, finished second behind Tamil Nadu with six points.
