A Kawasaki Ninja sports bike hit an on-duty police officer in Chennai. The 53-year-old Kumaran died on the spot.

Superbike Hits Cop In Chennai, Dead

Chennai: In a tragic incident, an on-duty police officer was killed after being hit by a speeding sports bike. The incident took place on August 4 when the biker struck 53-year-old Officer Kumaran at Porur Tollgate. The biker was riding a Kawasaki Ninja ZX.

The mishap was so intense that the police officer died on the spot. The biker was also injured and is currently undergoing treatment.

Traffic police retrieved Policeman Kumaran’s body and sent to the hospital for postmortem.

Further investigation is underway.
