Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed deep grief over the death of two school students and a parent in Keonjhar on Monday morning.

According to the Chief Minister’s order, immediate assistance of Rs 30,000 has been given to the family of each deceased.

In addition, a compensation of Rs 2 lakh will be provided to the next of kin of each deceased under the Solatium scheme for hit-and-run cases.

Krishna Bhusal of Joda Azad Basti, his son Nikit Bhusal studying in Standard 1 and his son’s classmate Ganesh Sharma were killed in a collision with an unknown vehicle on their way to Joda D.A.V school on a motorcycle this morning.

As per the CM’s order, arrangements have been made for free schooling of deceased Bhushal’s other son, Nishal Bhusal and Aditya Sharma, brother of deceased student Ganesh Sharma, in TATA D.A.V.
