2 arrested, 7 two-wheelers seized
Bengaluru Police have arrested two men and seized seven stolen two-wheelers in connection with a theft case reported on August 6.
The case unfolded when MP Sekhara of Yeshwantpur reported his scooter stolen from the 4th cross road near Kamakshipalya Karekallu Anjaneyaswamy Temple.
Following an investigation, the Kamakshipalya police station apprehended Syed Rizwan Bin Syedpir of Chitradurga on August 24.
Based on information provided by Rizwan, the police recovered six two-wheelers worth Rs. 2,23,750.
A further arrest was made on August 26 with Mohammed Kaif Bin SM Sharif (21) also of Chitradurga being taken into custody.
One more two-wheeler valued at Rs. 50,000 was seized based on information from Kaif. The investigation revealed that the recovered vehicles were linked to theft cases in Kamakshipalya (two cases), Badarahalli, Nandini Layout, and Govindarajanagar.
