In a recent bureaucratic reshuffle, the Bihar Government has reassigned 19 IAS officers across various departments to enhance administrative efficiency. Harjot Kaur Bamhara, previously Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Art, Culture, and Youth Affairs, has taken on the role of ACS for the Social Welfare Department and will oversee the Bihar State Women and Child Development Corporation. Santosh Kumar Mall has been appointed as Principal Secretary of the Water Resources Department. Meanwhile, Bandana Preyasi has been relieved of her duties as MD of the Bihar State Women and Child Development Corporation but will continue to serve as Secretary of the Environment, Forest, and Climate Change Department.

Additional key appointments include Prem Singh Meena as Commissioner of Magadh Division, Sarvanan M as Commissioner of Tirhut Division, and Gopal Singh Meena as Divisional Commissioner of Saran. Lokesh Kumar Singh has been named Secretary of the Finance Department, with an additional charge of the Rural Development Department. Pankaj Kumar Pal has been appointed Secretary of the Energy Department.

Furthermore, Kundan Kumar has been assigned as MD of BIADA, and Dr. Birendra Prasad Yadav has been appointed Special Secretary of the Agriculture Department. Dayanidhi Pandey will now lead the Art, Culture, and Youth Department, while Sandeep Kumar R Pudkalkatti will take on the role of Secretary of the Minor Irrigation Department. Dharmendra Singh has been given additional responsibility for the Cooperatives Department, Jay Singh has been named Secretary of the Finance Department, and Sanjay Kumar Singh has been appointed as Secretary of the Commercial Taxes Department. Ashima Jain has been posted as Secretary of the Transport Department.
